　原氏墓所
　『先哲叢談』を著した原念齋をはじめ、江戸時代中・後期の著名の儒学者を出した原一族4代の墓所で、当時のまま現存しており、墓域は円頂角柱型墓石十基からなる。
　雙桂（1718～1764）は、肥前唐津藩（後に下総古河に転封）の儒医であったが、50歳で致仕し江戸で病死した。著書に『桂館漫筆』『過庭紀談』などがある。
　敬仲（1748～1793）は、雙桂の次男で古河藩儒となったが、のち江戸に出て幕府に仕え、寛政5年（1793）46歳で死去した。
　念齋（1774～1820）は、敬仲の子で折衷学派の山本北山に学んだ。文化13年（1816）に著した『先哲叢談』は、儒学者の言行・逸話・詩などを資料として記述した歴史書で、近世儒学史の名著として知られている。著書はほかに『史氏備考』『念祖斎遺稿』などがある。文政3年（1820）3月19日病死した。享年47歳。墓碑銘は佐藤一斎（坦）の書いたものである。
　徳斎は、志賀理斎の子で京都に生まれ、念斎の養子となり北根岸村に住んだ啓蒙的著作に『先哲像伝』がある。生没年不明。

 This is a grave site for 4 generations of hamily members from  the Hara clan,who produced a lot of renowned Confucian scholars from the Middle to the Late Edo Period.The grave site area comprises 10 rectangular column tombstones with circular tops.
 Sokei (1718-1764) was a Confucian phycian for Karatsu domain in Hizen Province (its lord was later ordered to change his domain to Koga domain in SHimosa Province),but retired at the age of 50;he soon died in Edo.His works inblude Keikan Essays on Confucianism and Discourses on the Pase Centuries.
 Keichu (1748-1793) was a second son of Sokei adn apponted as a Confucian sholar in the service of Koga domain.He was later relocated to Edo for the service of the shogunate. He died at the age of 46 in 1793.
 Nensai (1774-1820) was a first son of Kechu.He learned with Yamamoto Hokuzan of the eclectoric school of Confucianism.The Analects of Previous Scholars written in 1816 is a collecton of commented biographies based upon deeds,episodes,poems and others of the early modern Confucian scholars,which is thus known as a classic of the early modernhistory of Confucianism.His other works include Supplementary Remarks to Historians and Posthumous Writings of Nensosai.He was about to be promoted by Hayashi Daigakunokami Jutsusai to a lecturer in the official Shoheiko school,but died on March 19,1820 before the final decision on the promotion.He was 47 years old at death.On the stele,the text by Sato Issai(Taira) is engraved.
 Tokusai(dates of birth and death unknown) was born as a son of Shiga RInsai in Kyoto,and adopted by Nensai.He thus moved to Kitanegishi village and wrote Images and Biographies of Preveious Scholars and others.
